My mom and I have been birding for over 10 years. What is birding? To us, it means observing and appreciating the beauty of wild birds. We are also “listers”, meaning that we keep a master list of all the species of birds we have observed in the wild. Our list began in Michigan and extends to Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, and Canada. I am currently in the process of compiling my list from several birding journals, backs of trails guides, etc. Once I have compiled the list, I will be migrating the information into a database that will be available on this blog.
