
My husband and I have been growing a vegetable/herb garden for the past five years. During the harvest months, my goal is to prepare most of our meals with produce from our garden. For our high yield crops, such as zucchini, we freeze the extras.
Here is what’s growing in our 2009 vegetable garden:
Corn, Zucchini, Sweet Dumpling Squash, Buttercup Squash, Pumpkins, Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Salad Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Beans, Cabbage, Lettuce, Beets, Carrots, Brussel Sprouts, Onions, Garlic, Basil, and Rosemary.
